I am a photographer based in Southern Arizona.

My photography focuses mostly on landscape, abstract, street and macrophotography, and my subjects vary according to my travels.

I believe that, with the abundance of images available online, and with the digital tools at photographers’ disposal, the ‘perfectly’ exposed, composed and processed image has become all too commonplace, formulaic and indistinguishable from thousands of near-identical images.

My photography avoids the pursuit of bland perfection, the polished esthetic of posters and calendars, and the processing styles favored in social media. Instead, I prefer the imperfection that makes a photograph more expressive, the randomness of unplanned timing and lighting that makes it original and compelling, and, for the right subjects, the bold primordial colors that lend it a uniquely raw and emotional feel.
